We've safely arrived in Alaska - right now we're in the hotel and getting ready to meet up with Adam and take the awesome drive to Kenai. On the way we'll be taking the tram up to the top of the mountain at the Alyeska Ski Resort and then going to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center!
We met a really cool guy named Steve on the flight here - he lives in Texas and was on his way to spend three weeks welding in the oil fields in northern Alaska (and then he gets three weeks off, then three weeks back in Alaska and so forth). :) BJ asked him if he's seen polar bears - he said that they did have one about 75 yards away from them - which was a little too close for his comfort!

I am glad you got there safely. I hope you have an awesome time! I am sure you will take lots of pixs.
Love, Dad and Mom
I came across your blog by chance. I've been to Alaska a couple of time myself. It's just great to see your pictures. I hope you have a lovely time and watch out for those bears.
