BJ was so sweet to bring me home an orchid last night from Jungle Jims. Now we just have to work to not kill it. I've been inspired by Chrissy and Chris that it just might be possible to keep it alive. :) We just have to keep Annie's greedy paws off it (she was already eyeing it like "What's thaaaaat?" with an evil grin) and not be overzealous with the watering.

weird, i just posted stuff about our orchids ... BJ must have been reading my mind or something. you can do it ... keep the cat away and you should do fine! althought, i've heard orchids grow better in the Indy area. ok, have i beaten that dead horse enough yet??
You can do it Jessie--before you know it orchids will begin multiplying around your house--we went from 1 to 4, well actually 3 because Hazel destroyed one!
